Most hockey players don’t just play hockey – they consume hockey content everywhere they go.

If you’re a hockey player, hockey coach, hockey parent or simply a fan of the game, you should be following these five hockey YouTube channels.  Some of them will help you become a better player. Some of them keep you up-to-date on all things NHL related.  Some are vlogging the ice hockey lifestyle. But all of them are high-quality and full of value.

Here are the best hockey YouTube channels you need to subscribe to:

Best NHL Recap Channel: HockeyPsychology

You cannot consider yourself a true fan of the NHL unless you’re following HockeyPsychology on YouTube.

Anthony, the owner of the channel, walks us through some of the most interesting storylines throughout the NHL from game-to-game as well as throughout the arch of the season in an extremely entertaining and detail oriented fashion.

From rivalries and unspoken rules to broken records and impressive plays, you can follow the NHL at a much deeper level with HockeyPsychology.

Best Youth Hockey Development Channel: iTrain Hockey

iTrain Hockey is run by Coach Sean, one of the best developmental hockey coaches in Canada. From stickhandling, to shooting, to positioning and skating, Coach Sean covers every aspect of hockey skill development you can imagine on his iTrainHockey YouTube Channel.

In addition to his very successful YouTube Channel, he runs hockey camps for kids all the way up to adults across the world. The hockey camps are usually two-day camps, broken out for specific ages and skill levels.

On top of all that, Coach Sean has an app membership called iTH+, which comes with an entire library of training content, hockey tips and practice plans as well as a way to track overall progress of your training.

Best “Day In The Life” Channel: Brody Trew

If you want some “day in the life” content from a professional hockey player, Brody Trew over at Trew Crew is exactly what you’re looking for.  He’s played for a number of different teams at various levels, but always puts out content that’s entertaining, fun and keeps you coming back for more.

Best Adult Hockey Training Channel: Hockey Training

Coach Kevin runs the Hockey Training YouTube Channel as well as additional free and paid hockey training resources at HockeyTraining.com. His content covers everything from on-ice drills to off-ice training.

His website also offers tons of free training articles as well as a way to download his app.  One of the best things he ever did for the hockey community was put together a “Find a hockey trainer” database of vetted trainers across the world.

Best Hockey Entertainment Channel: Coach Jeremy

Coach Jeremy has two YouTube channels with very different styles.

His Coach Jeremy channel started out with content on how to improve as a hockey player, from shooting to on-ice drills.  But his content quickly morphed into fun hockey content.  Think of this channel as the Mr. Beast of Hockey YouTube.

But if you want content to improve your game, Coach Jeremy obviously has that too over at his How To Hockey channel.  Even though this content is more geared towards skill development, the production quality and entertainment value is still the best in the business.
